What are Feedbucket and Marker.io built for?

Feedbucket

Feedbucket

Feedbucket is a website feedback tool for agencies, built so the client never needs an account and the agency works from inside Asana or Jira rather than from the tool. Client reporters and projects are unlimited on every plan, video is recorded in the browser by the reporter from the entry plan, and the trackers connect from Pro. The ladder has two rungs, two team members and then twenty five, and its pricing page publishes two different annual totals for Pro.

Marker.io

Marker.io

Marker.io is a widget and browser extension for agencies reporting bugs on client sites, priced on seats, projects and page views at once. Reporters are a free, unlimited role with no dashboard who follow their issue from a link. Session replay, console logs, network requests and the Jira integration begin at Team; its help centre states it has no built-in screen recording and suggests attaching a Loom link. Its MCP server is documented as open to every plan while in beta.

When should you choose Feedbucket, and when Marker.io?

Feedbucket

Choose Feedbucket when

  • Jira has to be on the entry plan. Feedbucket connects it from Pro; Marker.io's Jira integration and issue sync begin at Team.
  • You run many client sites with real traffic. Feedbucket's projects are unlimited on every plan; Marker.io caps Starter at ten projects and 5,000 page views a month.
  • The client needs to record their screen. Feedbucket records screen and audio in the browser from its entry plan; Marker.io's help centre states there is no built-in screen recording.
Marker.io

Choose Marker.io when

  • A developer needs the replay and the console with the report, and the budget reaches Team. Marker.io attaches session replay, console logs and network requests there; Feedbucket publishes neither replay nor network capture on any plan.
  • Your team is three people, not two. Marker.io's Starter carries three users at the same annual price as Feedbucket's Pro carries two, and Feedbucket's next step is twenty five seats at $89 a month.
  • Clients report from inside Zendesk or Intercom. Marker.io connects both on Business; on Feedbucket's pricing page we found neither, so that cell is pending verification.
  • You want an agency-shaped plan. Marker.io runs a separate Agency plan for small digital agencies, which Feedbucket has no equivalent of.
Notarus

The third option

Where does Notarus fit?

Notarus keeps the shared premise, that a reporter never costs a seat, and removes the tier the technical record waits behind. Session replay, console logs, network requests, the environment and a screen recording are all on the free plan, with unlimited seats and 5 projects, and page views are a degrade ceiling rather than a quota: past it the widget keeps accepting feedback and stops recording new replay until the month ends. A named client access follows a project with its own key and is never a member of the organisation.

It is a web widget and nothing else. There is no Figma, PDF or image review, no mobile SDK, and no Zendesk or Intercom integration, which is where Marker.io's Business plan keeps an edge. There is also no agency plan; the three plans are the same for everyone.

All three prices, SAML included, are printed on the pricing page.

What do buyers ask about Feedbucket vs Marker.io?

Is Feedbucket cheaper than Marker.io?

On an annual bill the entry plans match at $39 a month; monthly, Feedbucket's Pro is $49 against Marker.io's Starter at $59. They carry different things: two team members and unlimited projects on Feedbucket, three users, ten projects and 5,000 page views on Marker.io. The bigger difference is what the next tier buys, replay and console on Marker.io's Team at $149 billed annually, and twenty five seats on Feedbucket's Business at $89.

Do either of them record a session replay?

Marker.io does, from its Team plan at $199 a month or $149 billed annually, alongside console logs and network requests. Feedbucket does not state session replay anywhere on its pricing, features or home pages, and lists console logs under Business while its feature pages describe them as automatic, an inconsistency we have not resolved.

Which one lets the client record a video?

Feedbucket. Video feedback is recorded in the browser by the reporter, with or without audio, from its entry plan. Marker.io's help centre states it has no built-in screen recording and suggests recording with another tool and attaching the link.

Are reporters free on both?

Yes. Feedbucket's client reporters are unlimited on every plan and need no account. Marker.io's reporters are free and unlimited on every plan, never count as a seat, and follow their own issue from a link. The difference is on the agency side: Feedbucket counts team members, Marker.io counts users, projects and page views.

Does Marker.io integrate with Jira on its Starter plan?

No. Marker.io's Jira integration and its issue sync begin at Team, $199 a month or $149 billed annually; Starter connects GitHub, Trello, Asana, ClickUp, Monday, Linear and more. Feedbucket connects Jira, along with Asana, ClickUp, Trello, Basecamp, Monday, GitHub, Linear and GitLab, from its Pro plan at $49 a month or $39 billed annually. An agency whose clients' bugs must land in Jira from the first month pays less for that on Feedbucket.

Or try the third option on the free plan.

5 projects and unlimited seats, session replay included. No card.
