Gleap alternatives, with prices and limits

The closest alternatives to Gleap are Userback, Marker.io, BugHerd and Notarus. Userback matches its ladder and keeps two free seats at the bottom of it. Marker.io makes reporters free and unlimited. BugHerd puts unlimited guests and projects on every plan. Notarus carries replay, console and network on a free tier. Gleap stays the better answer when the reports come from a native mobile app, or when the same product is meant to answer your customers.

Why teams look past Gleap

The usual reason is the shape of the entry plan. Starter is $59 a month, or $49 billed annually, and what it carries is one seat and one project. A second colleague, or a second website, moves the account to Team at $179 a month or $149 billed annually, and there is no free plan underneath either of them: the pricing page offers a 14 day trial and nothing that keeps running once it ends.

The second is that the report cannot reach a tracker from the cheapest plan. Gleap's pricing table marks third party integrations as absent on Starter and included from Team, so a team buying a feedback tool in order to get bugs into Jira or Linear cannot do it on the plan it was quoted.

The third is that the product around the bug report is a support desk rather than a tracker. Gleap's own positioning puts an AI agent answering customer conversations at the centre, with in-app reporting as one of the channels feeding it, and the agents that investigate a report and send a fix start at Pro. A team that wanted an annotated screenshot with a console log attached is buying a support platform around it.

What each one is good at, and where it stops

Userback

Userback

A feedback platform with a four-step ladder, opening up AI insights, replay and mobile SDKs as a team moves up it.

Strength. A mobile SDK on Business Plus for native apps, integrations with Intercom and Zendesk so feedback lands where a support team already works, and MCP connectors from the Team plan for giving an AI assistant context on feedback.

Limitation. Session replay and the developer tools that capture console and network activity start at Business, $99 a month or $79 billed annually. On the free plan feedback disappears from view after 7 days.

Marker.io

Marker.io

A widget and browser extension aimed at agencies reporting bugs on client sites, priced by page views as well as by seat.

Strength. Reporters are free and unlimited, and sending feedback through the widget needs no account at all, so the people filing bugs never count against a seat.

Limitation. Session replay, console logs, network requests and the Jira integration all start at Team, which is $199 a month or $149 billed annually. Starter also caps page views at 5,000 a month.

Notarus

Notarus

A widget, a fixed four-stage board, and an MCP server that exposes every action the panel can take.

Strength. Session replay, console, network and environment arrive on the free plan rather than on a paid tier, unlimited seats on every plan including that one, clients follow the work through a portal access that is not a member and never uses a seat, and every panel action is an MCP tool as a shipping rule, so an agent can work the board a person works.

Limitation. No mobile SDK at all, so a native app is out of scope, and no Intercom or Zendesk integration. What it takes feedback on is a live web page and nothing else: no Figma file, no PDF and no image.

BugHerd

BugHerd

A pin-on-the-page feedback tool for agencies and studios, sold by team members with clients thrown in free.

Strength. Unlimited guests and unlimited projects on every plan, and feedback works on Figma designs, PDFs and images rather than only on a live site.

Limitation. The project trackers most teams already run, Jira, Linear, Asana, ClickUp and Monday, are held back to the Premium plan at $150 a month. Extra members cost $8 each a month on top.

When Gleap is still the right answer

  • The reports come from a native app. Gleap ships SDKs for iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter and Ionic, and the only mobile SDK among the four options below is Userback's, on Business Plus.
  • The evidence is already where you want it. A replay of the 60 seconds before the report, console logs, network requests and device data are all on Starter, and that is the thing Gleap does that the rest of this page charges for: Userback holds replay to Business and Marker.io holds it to Team.
  • You want the same product to answer customers as well as collect their reports. Kai handles support conversations from the entry plan, and none of the four options below attempts that at all.
  • You want an MCP server from a support platform. Gleap publishes one covering tickets, contacts, statistics and help centre content, though its pricing table does not say which plan carries it.

Common questions

What is the best alternative to Gleap?

It depends on which half of Gleap you were using. For the bug reporting, Userback is the closest in shape, and Marker.io and BugHerd are the two built around client work, both with free unlimited reporters. Notarus is the one that keeps session replay, console and network on a free plan. For the support agent and the help centre, none of the four is a replacement, and what you are looking for is a support platform rather than a feedback tool.

Does Gleap have a free plan?

No. Its plans open at Starter, $59 a month or $49 billed annually, for one seat and one project, and what sits underneath is a 14 day trial rather than a tier that keeps running. Of the options here, Userback's Free Forever carries two seats and keeps feedback visible for seven days, Notarus runs a free plan with unlimited seats and 5 projects, and Marker.io and BugHerd sell no free tier at all.

How much does Gleap cost?

Starter is $59 a month, or $49 billed annually, for one seat and one project. Team is $179, or $149 annually, and lifts seats and projects to unlimited. Pro is $359, or $299 annually, and adds the agents that investigate a report and send a fix. Enterprise starts at $1,199 a month, or $999 annually.

Which of these alternatives include session replay without moving up a tier?

Only Notarus, which carries it on the free plan along with console logs and network requests. Userback includes replay from Business, at $99 a month or $79 billed annually, and Marker.io from Team, at $199 a month or $149 billed annually. BugHerd does not state session replay on its pricing page. This is the one line where Gleap beats every option here: replay, console and network are on its cheapest plan.
