Terms of service

These terms cover the use of Notarus — the feedback widget, the panel, the API and the MCP server. Using the service means accepting them.

The service

Notarus collects product feedback from a website through an embeddable widget, attaches the technical context of the report, and manages the result as a ticket. What it captures and how long it is kept is described on the privacy page, which forms part of these terms.

Accounts

An account is held by a person, not shared. You are responsible for what happens under it, including anything done with a personal access token you create. Tokens can be revoked at any time from Personal settings, and revocation takes effect immediately.

Project roles decide what a member can do. Granting someone access to a project grants them the access that role carries; removing them ends it at once, including any review session already open.

Plans and billing

• There are two plans, Free and Pro. Their limits are listed on the pricing page and enforced by the service, not merely advertised.
• Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, monthly or yearly. Payment details are handled by Stripe; we do not receive or store them.
• Reaching a limit stops the action that would exceed it. It does not delete anything you have already stored.
• You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for, and the account moves to Free rather than being closed.
• Prices can change. A change never applies to a period already billed.

Your data

Content you and your reporters submit stays yours. We store and process it to run the service for you: to show it in the panel, deliver it to integrations you have connected, and produce the enrichment features your plan includes. We do not sell it, and we do not use it to train models for anyone else.

You can export tickets as CSV, and you can delete a project or an account. Deleting a project deletes its tickets, sessions and media; deleting an account deletes its projects. Deletion is not reversible.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Notarus to:

• Install the widget on a site you do not control, or capture people without the disclosure your own jurisdiction requires.
• Deliberately collect payment card numbers, credentials or other sensitive personal data through the feedback form. The service redacts what it can recognise; that is a safeguard, not a licence.
• Attempt to reach another customer's data, or to circumvent the limits your plan enforces.
• Break the service for others — automated abuse of the API or the MCP endpoint included. Both are rate limited.

Availability

The service is provided as it is. We do not commit to an uptime figure or a support response time here; where no such commitment is stated, none is being made. Maintenance and interruptions happen, and we work to keep them short.

Ending it

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaks the acceptable-use terms above, and where circumstances allow we will say why first.

Changes to these terms

These terms can change as the product does. The date at the top is when they last did. Continuing to use the service after a change means accepting the revised terms.
